We are seeking parents with Bipolar Disorder and their children aged 12-18.

Our research study aims to identify effective treatment methods for youth who have a family history of bipolar disorder.
Parent has a diagnosis of bipolar disorder

Child (ages 12-18)

Compensation is provided
Visits conducted via videoconference or in-person at our Pittsburgh, PA office location
Study Background
Having a family history of bipolar disorder is one of the strongest risk factors for developing bipolar disorder.

Identifying and treating the children of parents with bipolar disorder may help to prevent or slow the progression of bipolar disorder.

In addition to providing treatment for the child, we will also learn more about how we may best help others in the future.
