About this research study:
Help researchers learn more about the effects of a new behavioral therapy designed to increase positive emotions in people experiencing feelings of anxiety or depression.
Researchers hope their findings will lead to improved treatments for depression and anxiety.

Participants in the study will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. One group will complete activities designed to increase positive thoughts, behaviors and emotions. The other group will complete exercises designed to help manage stress. Both groups will complete survey assessments, computer and behavioral tasks, and MRI brain scans before and after treatment.
