Why is this study being done?
Our goal is to understand the accessibility and feasibility of treatments and services for trans women.
Is this study for me?
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria.

Criteria:
  • 18+ years old
  • Male at birth
  • Identify as a woman/transwoman
  • Living without HIV
  • Not consistently using PrEP (less than four doses per week)
  • Fluent in English and/or Spanish (including persons who cannot read or write)
  • Should be at moderate risk of developing a SUD based on their AUDIT and DAST-10 scores (AUDIT scores ≥3 and DAST-10 scores ≥3 indicates moderate risk of developing a SUD)
What will happen if I participate in the study?
Participants will be asked to engage in a screening visit, baseline/enrollment visit, 3-month follow-up, 6-month follow up. There will be two laboratory visits – one for screening and one at the 6-month visit). Approximately six months from enrollment to 6-month visit.
Will I be paid for being in this research study?
Participants will receive up to $370; guaranteed $50 minimum per visit
Will it cost me anything to participate in this study?
There is no cost for participation in this study.
