About this research study:
Help researchers better understand daily chronic back pain and how patients' and spouses' health and well-being change over time.

The natural aging process can start with a person feeling aches and pains and eventually lead to various, more serious problems for an individual's body. The spine is one of the most complex joint systems and back pain is one of the main disabling health conditions among adults 65 years and older. For many older adults, their spouse/partner serves as a great support system in dealing with such conditions.

Researchers are partnering with individuals that fit
this criteria in the hopes that they can enhance
their scientific understanding of daily chronic
back pain and how patients' and spouses' health
and well-being changes over time with a goal
of developing new treatments.
