Study Background:
Roughly 10% of the US adult population lives with symptoms of PTSD. This condition can lead to people living their life with constant
nightmares, trouble engaging in social activities and hamper relationships with relatives and friends.
NYU researchers are studying the biology of PTSD and how it impacts emotional learning and memory. We would like to enroll individuals with current PSTD symptoms.

Additional Information
You could be included in one of the studies if you meet the following criteria.

Criteria:
- Males and females aged 18-70 years old
- Current PTSD symptoms
- Able to travel to NYU Langone for multiple visits
Participants will complete:
- a screening interview
- MRI scans
- Blood draw (for female participants)
- 6 sessions of prolonged exposure therapy (for women enrolled in our PTSD treatment study).
Participants will be compensated a minimum of $200 and a maximum of $480 upon study completion.
There is no cost for you to participate in any of the studies.
