Why is this study being done?
Our study is being done to understand how cognition is affected by mental illness.

You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.

- 20 to 55 years old
- In good physical health
- Not diagnosed with a mental illness
What will happen if I participate in the study?
By completing the screening form, you are agreeing to be contacted to learn about other studies. You are NOT agreeing to participate in any studies. If you meet the eligibility criteria and choose to be part of any future studies, you will be asked to sign a separate consent form for each study.
Our study will take approximately 2 hours to complete. We will interview you about your medical, psychiatric, and family history. We will ask questions about psychiatric symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and psychosis (i.e., losing touch with reality). The interview includes questions about how you think, feel and act in different situations. We may ask you to complete some questionnaires and screening measures of reading and cognitive ability. We will also ask you about any psychiatric and other medications you may be taking.

Will I be paid for being in this research study?
Study participants will be compensated $20/hr.
Will it cost me anything to participate in this study?
There is no cost for you to participate in our research program.
