About this research study:
Researchers hope to better understand differences in how a new medication may effect the brain for individuals with schizophrenia!
The purpose of this study is to learn more about the effects of a drug called levetiracetam, or Keppra. This drug is normally used to treat seizures in people with epilepsy, but we are trying to understand if a much lower dose of this drug could have helpful effects on attention and brain function in individuals with schizophrenia. This may help us to find new types of treatment for schizophrenia.
